He returns to the University rescript and he runs into Judy, she flirts with him and insists on them acquiring married. He agrees and does not mourning messing up his reputation or betraying Irene. He loves Judy above all and believes that Judy is worth it. Seven geezerhood later he discovers that Judy has gotten remarried to a man who is horrible and cheats on her while she is home with their kids. He cries because he will never get his youth back.\nIn Soldiers Home, it tells a story near a man named Krebs. Krebs went to the war in 1917 and returns in 1919. When he returns, no one ce lebrates.
